The International Journal of Engineering, Science and Environment (IJESE) is an international, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across engineering, applied sciences, and environmental studies. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.

IJESE provides a platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to share original research, review articles, and innovative ideas addressing contemporary challenges and emerging trends in engineering and environmental sustainability.

Publication Frequency

IJESE is a quarterly journal, publishing four issues per year — in March, June, September, and December. The journal maintains a regular, consistent schedule to reliably serve researchers in engineering, applied sciences, and environmental studies.

Aims and Scope

IJESE publishes original research that advances knowledge in engineering, science, and environmental domains. It encourages interdisciplinary work combining technological innovation with sustainable solutions.

Editorial Policy

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to verify alignment with the journal's scope. Manuscripts that pass this stage are sent for double-blind peer review, evaluated by at least two independent experts. Editors make decisions based on reviewer recommendations: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Decisions are fair, unbiased, and timely.

Publication Ethics

IJESE adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. All authors, reviewers, and editors must follow established ethical standards. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, or misconduct results in rejection or retraction. Corrections or retractions are issued if errors are discovered post-publication.

Indexing and Abstracting

IJESE is actively seeking inclusion in recognised international indexing services to enhance global discoverability and citation impact. Published articles are permanently available online and accessible to researchers worldwide without any subscription or access fee.

Open Access and Publication Fees

IJESE is a fully Open Access journal. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication. Authors retain copyright of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

IJESE currently does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs). Authors can submit and publish their work entirely free of charge.
