Author Guidelines & Submission Requirements

Authors are cordially invited to submit their original research manuscripts to the International Journal of Engineering, Science and Environment (IJESE). All submissions undergo a rigorous evaluation process to ensure scientific integrity, technical accuracy, and alignment with our core publication standards.

Initial Editorial Assessment & Desk Review

Upon formal submission, all manuscripts are immediately assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the specific aims and scope of this journal. An editor may desk reject a submission at this stage if it does not meet the minimum standards of quality, formatting, or linguistic clarity. Before submitting, please ensure that your study design, methodology, and research argument are structured and articulated properly. A concise, descriptive title and a self-contained abstract will significantly increase the likelihood of domain experts agreeing to peer-review your paper.

Manuscripts considered to be a good structural fit will be forwarded to independent external reviewers for a rigorous double-blind peer review before a final determination is made regarding acceptance or rejection.

Pre-Submission Responsibilities & Research Ethics

Before initiating a submission, the corresponding author is responsible for ensuring the manuscript complies with the following compliance mandates:

• Copyright Permissions: Authors are solely responsible for obtaining official written permission to publish any third-party material included within the submission, such as photographs, specific text extracts, proprietary documents, and restricted datasets.
• Author Consent: All individuals identified as authors on the submission must read the final manuscript and explicitly consent to be identified as an author prior to upload.
• Ethical Approvals: Where appropriate, experimental research involving human participants, field studies, or sensitive environmental data must be formally approved by an institutional ethics committee in strict accordance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the country where the study was conducted.

Manuscript Structure Blueprint

To assist reviewers and accelerate the processing timeline, verify that your manuscript is organized into the following distinct academic components:

• Title: Concise, informative, and free of unnecessary acronyms or abbreviations.
• Abstract: Must be entirely self-contained (maximum 250 words), explicitly stating the research objective, methodology, key results, and primary conclusion without citing external references.
• Body Text: Logically divided into standard sections: Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusions.
• References: Complete, active, and matching the specific citation style required by the journal's domain guidelines.
